Reciperella´s Espresso Chocolate Cake
This is one of my favorite recipes, I wanted to make a cake with everything I like included and I made this cake.
Espresso
Dark chocolate
Orange liquor

Ingredients
For cake
For homemade buttermilk
Wet Ingredients
For Coffee Buttercream
For coffee Syrup
For ganache
Instructions
First, mix the cup of milk with the apple cider vinegar. Set aside.
In a bowl, whisk together the dry cake ingredients
In the mixer, add the oil, the eggs, and vanilla. At medium speed
Then add black coffee, alternating with the dry ingredients and the buttermilk. It is a liquid mixture, bakes for 50 mins at 220 degrees.
Cool completely.
For frosting, beat all ingredients in a mixer till smooth.
For the syrup, boil the coffee and sugar, cool and set aside. When it is cold add the orange liqueur.
For the ganache, in a bowl, add all the ingredients and microwave for about 90 seconds. Mix and set aside.
To assemble the cake: Trim cakes level if needed. Add syrup and then frosting to top of one round then top with second cake and frost top and sides of cake. Refrigerate for 1 hour. (Refrigerating the cake is essential.)
Add ganache to cake and frost top and sides of cake. Refrigerate. You can make the cake the night before and you will have a delicious chocolate cake!
