Espresso Burgers Recipe

This delicious burger recipe has a super special flavor. Imagine: espresso sauce with caramelized onions and mushrooms. Monterey jack cheese, pickles and crispy bacon. Yummy!

Espresso Burgers Recipe-Reciperella


For Espresso Sauce

2 tbsp butter
3 garlic cloves, mashed
2 tbsp onion, finely chopped
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup ketchup
3 tbsp white vinegar
1/8 tsp paprika
1/8 tsp black pepper, ground
1.5 cups fresh espresso

For caramelized onions and mushrooms

1 sliced onion, L
250 grs mushrooms sliced
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 tbsp butter

For ground hamburger meat

2 lbs ground beef
1/2 tbsp garlic powder
1/2 tbsp onion powder
1/4 tbsp paprika
1/2 tbsp dried parsley
1 egg, L


12 slices bacon
6 slices monterey jack cheese
6 brioche burger buns



First, we will make the hamburger meat. In a large glass bowl mix the ground meat with the other ingredients, season and rest for 2 hours.


Now, we are going to make the espresso sauce. In a small saucepan over low heat, melt the butter and add the garlic and onion. Cook until soft and translucentt and now add all the other ingredients for the sauce. Mix and simmer for 15 minutes, set aside.


Then we will make the caramelized onion and mushrooms. In another small pot over low heat melt the butter and add the onion and sugar, stir and when it starts to boil add the mushrooms. Cook until when the mix is almost caramelized. Set aside.


Divide meat mixture into 6 equal portions and form them into patties.


In a large skillet at medium heat, melt 1 tbsp butter and add burgers. cook for about 3 minutes per side, add a cheese slice and melt. Reserve.


Cook the bacon until crisp and set aside.


Now, toast the buns and set aside.


To make burgers, spread dijon in the buns, the burger meat with cheese, espresso sauce, bacon, caramelized onions and pickels.
