This is a delicious beef stew, with vegetables, and with incredible flavor. Is a delicious comfort food, is the best family dinner!
For Beef Stew
Heat the olive oil in a large Dutch oven over medium heat.
Add about half of the beef meat to the pan.
Sauté the beef meat until browned. Set aside and add remaining beef meat and repeat.
Reserve remaining meat and immediately add onion, garlic, celery and carrots.
Cook at low heat, stirring, until softened.
Now, add cornstarch and stirring very carefully.
When ready, it’s time to add the beef broth.
Pour in the worcestershire sauce and add the bay leaves, salt and pepper.
Add the beef and bring to a boil. remember, the heat is LOW, add potatoes, cover, and simmer for 1 or 1/2 hours, or until the beef is fork tender.
Finally, add the peas and serve.
